Day 1 Fly to Tokyo
Take a scheduled flight from London Heathrow to Tokyo.
Day 2 Arrive Tokyo
Upon arrival in Tokyo, you will be met at the airport and assisted in boarding a pre-reserved taxi. Upon arrival at the hotel in Tokyo, please check in by yourself. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 3 Tokyo (B)
You will be picked up from your hotel. Take a Morning tour of Tokyo by coach and visit Tokyo Tower, Imperial Palace Plaza and Sensoji Temple passing the Nakamise shopping arcade in Asakusa. Following a drive through Ueno, the tour will disembark in Akihabara or at Tokyo Station. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore Tokyo.
Day 4 Tokyo / Mt. Fuji / Hakone / Kyoto (BL)
In the morning, travel by coach (120mins) to Mt. Fuji and visit Fuji Visitor Centre. Drive up to Mt. Fuji 5th station before continuing to Hakone. Enjoy a Japanese-style lunch in Hakone. After lunch, take a cruise on Lake Ashi and ride the Mt. Komagatake Ropeway. Board a Hikari or Kodama Shinkansen (bullet train) to Kyoto at Odawara Station (120-180 mins). Your baggage will be transported from Tokyo to Kyoto today.
Day 5 Kyoto / Nara / Kyoto (BL)
Today enjoy a day tour of Kyoto and Nara. In the morning, visit Nijo Castle, Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion), Kyoto Imperial Palace and Kitano Tenmangu Shrine. Enjoy a Japanese-style lunch. After lunch, continue to Nara and visit Todai-ji Temple, Nara Park, Kasuga Grand Shrine, and Nara Nagomikan. At the end of the day you will be dropped off at your accommodation in Kyoto.
Day 6 Kyoto (B)
Day free at leisure to explore Kyoto.Home to 17 UNESCO World Heritage sites, Kyoto was the centre of politics for 1,100 years. This culturally rich city offers many interesting places to visit including museums, art galleries, shrines and temples. Popular historic sites include the Kiyomizu-dera Temple and Nijo Castle. You will also discover an exciting food culture with a variety of amazing food on offer including Sushi, Kaiseki-ryori, tempura and noodles. During your time in Kyoto you may come across a Geisha and Maiko (apprentice Geisha) wearing traditional kimono. Gion, one of the main downtown districts in Kyoto, is where you may catch a sight of them. There is so much to discover and experience in Kyoto so choose the season, take your time and enjoy this historic and charming city.
Day 7 Fly to Seoul (B)
Transfer from accommodation to Kansai International Airport, Osaka, for your flight to Seoul. On arrival in Seoul you will be met and transferred to your accommodation.
Day 8 City Tour(B)
In the morning you will be taken to Gyeongbokgung Palace to see Royal Guard Changing Ceremonies, the Palace and Insadong shopping district. Afternoon at leisure. In the evening watch the thrilling and hilarious Nanta show.
Day 9 DMZ Tour (B)
A day tour to DMZ. This is one of the most unusual tourist destinations in the world. This visit is a real eye-opening experience and it will leave you a dramatic sense of the tremendous tragedy of separated families, the division of the peninsula and the hopes for reunification.
Day 10 Fly to London Heathrow (B)
Transfer from accommodation to Seoul International airport for your flight to London Heathrow.
